     Charity Springs Community Church is a predominantly African-American congregation that meets in the River Street Baptist Church.  Under the leadership of Pastor Sam Stewart, the church seeks to reach out to persons living in the surrounding neighborhoods with the love of Christ.  Charity Springs has a Bible Study at 6 pm on Wednesday night and Sunday service at 11:30 am.
     Charity Springs and First Baptist share together in worship several times each year, and often join hands to do ministries in the community.  This is a relationship valued by both congregations.  We count it a privilege to be brothers and sisters in Christ, serving the Lord and the Anderson community together!
