We need volunteers, lunches and monetary donations.
Please encourage your Sunday school classes to sign up for a day to work.
What is an Apostles Build?
An Apostles Build is a partnership that allows twelve church communities to join together with combined congregations to fully fund and build a house for a deserving Anderson County Family.
As Jesus’ original apostles were charged with spreading the word about Jesus, our twelve apostles are charged with assisting in the mission of Habitat for Humanity to provide decent shelter for God’s people.
How Will it Work?
Each church community is responsible for marketing to their congregation of the opportunity to contribute to a Habitat home.
The cost to sponsor the Apostles Build Habitat House is $60.00 per square foot. At an approximate size of 1100 square feet, the total cost of the house is $66,000.00. We appreciate sponsorships of all size - from a single square foot to an entire room.
The Habitat staff will keep volunteers updated regarding the build schedule.
The build site is located at 1117 Kennedy Street. Lisa Ward and her son, William, will be the gracious recipients of this house.

WILL YOU HELP?
We need additional workers (men and women) in the Pre-School area during Sunday School and also during the worship service. A greeter is needed along with teachers. Our faithful volunteers serve on a rotation schedule, rather than every week.
Please give this careful and prayerful thought to see whether this is a need you can fill.

WANTED: Used Christian Literature and Magazines
Just a reminder that we are continuing to collect gently used Christian Literature and Christian magazines. There is a box on the table in the second floor records office waiting for your used literature and magazines. Let’s continue to make the box overflow! We have already delivered over 6 boxes of literature to the Saluda Baptist Association!
