Family Promise

Our second Family Promise host week is the week of September 5th - 12th.
Volunteer sign up sheets will be in the Sunday School folders and in the Vesibule or contact Shelby Clardy at 376-8698 or by email to volunteer. 

During this week, we will have 2 opportunities to provide all-day activities for these families:  Labor Day, September 6 and Saturday, September 11.  Participants and ideas are welcome in providing activities for the families.  The support of the congregation is appreciated for this wonderful new ministry which serves homeless families and children.  The need continues to increase as shown by the statistics from 2009-2010 school year in which a total of 500 identified homeless school children were reported amongst Anderson County's 5 School Districts.
