DR. JOSH HUNT, PASTOR
Josh Hunt serves as Pastor of First Baptist Church.  A native of Virginia, he began his time at First Baptist in 2012 as Associate Pastor.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Religion from Carson-Newman University, a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Gardner-Webb University, and a Doctorate of Ministry in Church Leadership and Community Witness from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University.  He enjoys theatre, college sports, reading, music, and cheering his son’s YMCA-league sports teams. His passion is to teach, nurture God-given gifts, and equip other Christians to live out their ministries to make a positive impact in the community and around the world.  Josh is husband to Sacha, a school teacher, and father to Jude and Sebastian.  email
REV. CHRIS LILES, ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Chris Liles is originally from Birmingham, AL. He graduated from Berry College (B.A.) and Baptist Seminary of Kentucky (M. Div.) Chris recently began his role as Associate Pastor after his previous tenure as Pastor of First Baptist Church of York, SC. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys playing golf, watching the Auburn Tigers, and collecting fountain pens. He is married to Emily, a middle school teacher, and is “Dad” to Tessa and Addie. email

REV. AMY BROWN, MINISTER TO STUDENTS

Amy Brown is a native of North Carolina and a graduate of Appalachian State University (B.S.) and Gardner-Webb University’s School of Divinity (M.Div.). Amy began serving at First Baptist in November of 2013 and has also served as Moderator of CBF of South Carolina. She is passionate about missions and community involvement and guiding young people to be the hands and feet of Christ in this world. email

MR. ADDRIAN WILSON, MINISTER OF MUSIC

Addrian Wilson has served in Music Ministry since 1986.  He completed his Church Music studies at Erskine College with an emphasis in Vocal Performance. He is a member of the Greater  Anderson Musical Arts Consortium (GAMAC) Chorale and Concert of Hope and Remembrance choirs where he has had the opportunity to perform as soloist. Past Performances with other community organizations include community theatre as a cast member and music director.  He has also performed as a vocalist and guest conductor for many other area community and national choir tours and productions. Addrian and his wife, Kimberly, are natives of Greer, South Carolina and have four children and seven grandchildren. email

MR. JAMIE SMITH, MUSIC ASSISTANT

Jamie Smith demonstrates his lifelong love of music both personally, as a trumpet player and vocalist, and professionally through his vocation as an arts school principal. He has devoted  25 years to public school education and administration, during which time he has continuously been active as a part-time church music minister. Jamie received his bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Erskine College in 1994 and later earned his master’s degree in School Administration from Furman University.  Jamie is the principal at Southwood Academy of the Arts, a magnet middle and high school which emphasizes the integration of fine arts into core curriculum. He and his wife Kelly, have two daughters, Savannah and Sara Kate. email

MRS. RAMONA HALLMAN, ORGANIST

Ramona Hallman graduated from Columbia College with a BA degree in piano performance and received the Sternheimer award for Outstanding graduate in Music.  She taught piano for 13 years in the Pre-College Music Department at Columbia College as well as serving as organist at Main Street Methodist for 9 of those years.  After her marriage to Dan Hallman and the birth of their 2 children, Jason and Hilary, they moved to James Island, SC. She continued to teach piano and serve as organist at Ft. Johnson Baptist Church.  In succeeding moves, she served as substitute at Riverland Hills in Columbia, Marion Baptist in Marion, SC, First Baptist in Chester, SC before moving to Anderson, SC.  She served at First Baptist Belton for 16 years, followed by First Baptist, Anderson for the past 14 years. It has been a privilege and a blessing to lead in worship for all of these churches. email

MRS. KELLY SMITH, PIANIST

Kelly Smith, a summa cum laude graduate of Erskine College, received her B.A. in Piano Performance under the instruction of Dr. Matthew Manwarren.  In addition to teaching music in her home studio, she is actively involved as an accompanist for several regional school districts, colleges, and churches.  Her experience as a church pianist and organist span three decades. She and her husband Jamie have two daughters, and they enjoy making music together as a family. email

MRS. JANICE FOUTS, FINANCIAL SECRETARY
Janice Fouts has been a part of the ministry at FBC for over 45 years. She is married to Sonny who retired from the AnMed Hospital System. They enjoy spending time in their yard and rooting for the Clemson Tigers. email
MRS. SHARON ROYALS, MINISTRY ASSISTANT
Sharon Royals, originally from Texas, has called Anderson her home for over 20 years. She joined the FBC staff in 2010 and is primarily responsible for all church publications. Sharon and her husband Steve enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends. email
MR. GREG WILSON, MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Greg Wilson has been a part of the FBC staff since 1983. Greg assures facilities and equipment are safe and working well for both the church and the child development center.
MRS. SHANNON GRIFFIN, CDC Director
Shannon Griffin has been on staff with the Child Development Center for over 8 years. She served as a teacher, Assistant Director and has been Director since 2016. Shannon and her husband Billy have two daughters, Ella and Madelyn who  both attended the CDC program. email
