Ramona Hallman, Organist
Ramona Hallman graduated from Columbia College with a BA degree in piano performance and received the Sternheimer award for Outstanding graduate in Music. She taught piano for 13 years in the Pre-College Music Department at Columbia College as well as serving as organist at Main Street Methodist for 9 of those years. After her marriage to Dan Hallman and the birth of their 2 children, Jason and Hilary, they moved to James Island, SC. She continued to teach piano and serve as organist at Ft. Johnson Baptist Church. In succeeding moves, she served as substitute at Riverland Hills in Columbia, Marion Baptist in Marion, SC, First Baptist in Chester, SC before moving to Anderson, SC. She served at First Baptist Belton for 16 years, followed by First Baptist, Anderson for the past 14 years. It has been a privilege and a blessing to lead in worship for all of these churches.
